1. About Orange County Concrete Contractors
Orange County Concrete Contractors, referred to in these Terms as “OCCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” operates a marketing and contractor-connection service.
OCCC helps homeowners, businesses, property managers, and other prospective customers connect with independent contractors who may be available to evaluate or perform concrete-related projects.
OCCC is not a construction contractor and does not perform construction work. We do not pour, install, repair, remove, inspect, supervise, manage, warrant, or guarantee concrete work or any other construction services.
OCCC does not enter into construction contracts with website users. We do not negotiate or execute home-improvement contracts on behalf of contractors, determine the final scope or price of a project, supervise construction, or direct how a contractor performs its work.
2. Independent Contractors
Any contractor introduced through OCCC is an independent third party.
Contractors are not employees, agents, representatives, subcontractors, joint venturers, or legal partners of OCCC. A connection made through this website does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint-venture, fiduciary, or similar relationship between OCCC and any contractor or website user.
Each contractor is independently responsible for:
-
Evaluating the proposed project
-
Providing estimates or proposals
-
Confirming licensing and insurance
-
Determining required permits
-

-
Entering into contracts with customers
-
Scheduling and performing the work
-

-

-
Addressing warranties, corrections, complaints, or disputes
OCCC does not control and is not responsible for a contractor’s conduct, availability, communications, pricing, representations, workmanship, employees, subcontractors, scheduling, safety practices, licensing status, insurance coverage, or legal compliance.
3. No Guarantee of Contractor Selection or Performance
OCCC may consider factors such as service area, project type, contractor availability, experience, licensing information, or responsiveness when making a connection. However, we do not guarantee that every contractor will be appropriate for every project.
OCCC does not guarantee:
-
That a contractor will contact you
-
That a contractor will accept your project
-
That you will receive a particular price
-
That an estimate will be accurate or complete
-
That work will begin or finish by a particular date
-
That permits or approvals will be obtained
-
That construction will meet your expectations
-
That a contractor’s work will be free from defects
-
That a contractor will honor a warranty
-
That disputes will be resolved in your favor
Any information OCCC provides about a contractor is for general informational purposes and should not replace your own evaluation.
4. Your Responsibility to Evaluate Contractors
You are responsible for deciding whether to hire a contractor and should conduct your own due diligence before signing an agreement or allowing work to begin.
This may include independently confirming the contractor’s:
-
California contractor license and classification
-
Bond and insurance information
-

-

-
Proposed scope of work
-
Materials and installation methods
-
Permit responsibilities
-
Payment schedule
-
Warranty terms
-
Estimated start and completion dates
You should obtain a written contract directly from the contractor and carefully review it before signing. OCCC is not responsible for verifying every statement, credential, document, estimate, reference, review, or representation provided by a contractor.
5. Estimates, Contracts, Payments, and Refunds
All project estimates, proposals, construction contracts, change orders, warranties, invoices, deposits, progress payments, final payments, financing arrangements, refunds, chargebacks, and other financial matters are strictly between you and the contractor.

6. Compensation From Contractors
OCCC may receive advertising fees, marketing fees, referral compensation, revenue-based compensation, or other compensation from participating contractors.
Any such compensation is paid in connection with OCCC’s marketing or contractor-connection services. It does not make OCCC a party to your construction contract and does not transfer responsibility for the contractor’s work, pricing, conduct, or obligations to OCCC.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, users are not charged by OCCC for submitting a project inquiry or being connected with a contractor.
7. Project Information and Communications
